In short
- Livar is a rehearsal. None of the money in it is real, and a run is not a promise about the real world.
- Your team is made of AI models. They can be wrong, so check their work before you act on it.
- What you write and what your team makes for you is yours.
- A paid plan renews each month until you stop it, which you can do at any time in Plan and credits.
These lines are a summary. The parts below are what holds.
1These terms
These are the terms on which you use Livar. Where they say “we”, they mean the people who run Livar, and “you” means whoever is using it. By using Livar you agree to them. If you use it for a company or another organisation, you agree on its behalf and say that you may.
How we handle what we know about you is set out on the privacy page.
2What Livar is, and is not
In Livar you say what a company does, a team of AI people is hired to run it, and they run it day after day, with the reason for every decision written down. It is a way to try a company, a plan or a place before it costs you anything real.
- None of it is real. The money, the customers, the suppliers, the prices and the days are simulated. Nothing is bought, sold, hired or paid in the world because of a run.
- A run is not a forecast. How a company does here is one way things might go. It is not a prediction, and a company that does well here may not do well in the world.
- It is not advice. Nothing in Livar is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Prices and costs for a place are estimates. Before you spend real money or sign anything, check for yourself and ask someone qualified.
- The team can be wrong. The people in your company think with AI models. What they decide, say and write can be mistaken, out of date or made up, and can read as certain when it is not. Read their work before you rely on it or pass it on.
3You and your account
- You must be 18 or over, and free to make this agreement where you live.
- You can begin without signing in. Your companies then live in that one browser, and are lost if the browser is cleared. Sign in, and they are there on any device.
- Keep your way of signing in to yourself. What is done from your account is taken to be done by you. If you think someone else has got in, sign out everywhere in Settings and tell us.
- Tell us the truth about who you are when you pay or ask us for something.
4What is yours, and what is ours
Yours
What you write in Livar stays yours: what your company does, your instructions, your tasks, your documents. As between you and us, what your team makes for you is yours as well, to use as you see fit, as far as the law allows such work to be owned.
You let us keep, copy and handle all of it as far as running Livar for you needs, which includes sending it to the makers of the models your team thinks with. The privacy page says who they are. You say that you have the right to put in whatever you put in.
Models can give different people much the same answer. Something your team writes for you may resemble what another team wrote for someone else, and neither of you has a claim on the other for it.
Ours
Livar itself is ours: the product, its design, its name, its pictures and people, and the way it works. You may use it as these terms allow. Nothing here hands any of it to you.
If you tell us how Livar could be better, we may act on it without owing you anything.
5What we ask of you
Use Livar for what it is for. In particular, do not:
- use it to break the law, to deceive or defraud anyone, or to harm or harass anyone;
- put in other people’s personal details, or anything you have no right to share;
- pass off a run as real trading, real accounts or a real result to a lender, an investor, a customer or anyone else;
- try to get at accounts or records that are not yours, or look for ways round its limits;
- overload it, copy it wholesale by machine, or take it apart to build a rival;
- sell or lend your account, or resell Livar, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
If you share a report or let visitors into a company, what they see is what you chose to show. You answer for it.
6Credits, plans and paying
- Credits. Your team uses credits as it works: one each time someone decides or serves a visitor, more for a piece of written work or for drawing up a company. What each thing costs is listed with the plans, and your statement shows what every credit went on. When credits run out your team stops where it is until there are more.
- Plans. A paid plan gives you credits each month and a number of companies. It renews every month, at the price shown when you took it, until you stop it. Stop it at any time in Plan and credits: you keep the plan to the end of the month you paid for, and are not charged again.
- Top-ups. You can buy more credits at any time, at the price shown.
- Paying. Payment is taken by a payment company on our behalf, in the currency shown to you. Its own terms apply to the payment itself. It may add a fee of its own for taking a payment, which is shown to you on the payment page before you pay. Prices include tax where we are required to charge it, and your bank may add charges of its own.
- Refunds. Credits are not money. They cannot be cashed, lent or passed to another account. Payments are not refunded, except where we have charged you by mistake or where the law where you live gives you the right. If you think a charge is wrong, write to us and we will look at it.
- Changes in price. We may change what plans, credits or the work of your team cost. A change to a plan you are on is told to you before your next renewal, so that you can stop it first.
- Custom plans. If we agree terms of your own with you, they are added to these, and where the two differ, yours hold.
7How Livar is provided
We work to keep Livar running and to keep what you have made safe. We also keep changing it: parts are added, changed and sometimes taken away, and the models behind your team are replaced with better ones as they come. The same company run twice will not go the same way twice.
Livar depends on other companies for its models, its payments and its sign-in. It may be slow or out of reach at times, and work under way may have to be started again.
Beyond what these terms say, and as far as the law allows, Livar is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be there, that it is free of faults, or that what your team produces is right or fit for any purpose of yours.
8What we answer for
Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be signed away, or limits what we answer for where the law does not let it be limited, such as fraud, or death or injury caused by our carelessness.
Apart from that, and as far as the law allows:
- we do not answer for what you lose by acting on a run, on what your team said or wrote, or on a figure Livar showed you;
- we do not answer for lost profit, lost business, lost savings or lost records, or for loss we could not have foreseen;
- all that we answer for to you, taken together, is no more than what you paid us in the twelve months before the loss.
If someone makes a claim against us because of what you put into Livar or how you used it against these terms, you will make good what it costs us.
9Ending
You can stop using Livar at any time, close any company, and ask us to close your account.
We may hold back or close an account that breaks these terms, puts Livar or other people at risk, or has to be closed by law. Unless the matter is serious or urgent, we tell you first and give you the chance to put it right. If we close an account for no fault of yours, we return what you paid for the time and credits you had not yet used.
When an account is closed, the right to use Livar ends with it. What is said above about what is yours and ours, and about what we answer for, goes on.
10When these terms change
We may change these terms as Livar changes. The date at the top says when they last did. If a change takes something away from you, we tell you in Livar before it takes effect. If you go on using Livar after that, you agree to them as changed. If you do not agree, stop using it, and stop your plan before it renews.
11The law, and disagreements
If something is wrong, write to us first. Most things are put right that way.
If you use Livar as a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live, and may bring a claim there.
If a court finds part of these terms cannot stand, the rest stands. If we do not hold you to something once, we may still do so later. These terms, with the privacy page and any terms of your own we agreed, are the whole of what is agreed between us about Livar. You may not hand your side of them to someone else. We may, to whoever takes Livar on.
12Writing to us
Write to us about these terms, a charge or your account, and a person will answer.
